Frequently Asked Questions
Are You Accepting New Clients?
I currently have a waitlist for new clients. Please email me if you are interested in the possibility of working together via telehealth and I'd be happy to give you more information about next steps. In your email, please include your general availability, therapy goals, and insurance plan.
How Long Are Your Sessions?
Weekly individual sessions are 50 minutes long.
What Is Your Fee?
50 minute weekly sessions are $125 + applicable taxes and fees.
Do You Take Insurance?
I currently take:
Presbyterian Commercial and Medicaid plans
BCBS Commercial and Medicaid plans
Can I Use My Out of Network Benefits?
If I don't take your current insurance but your plan has out of network benefits, it's likely we can still work together. I can provide what's called a superbill (receipt) of our sessions which you can then submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
When Is Payment Due and What Forms of Payment Do you Take?
If you have a copay, choose to use your out of network benefits, or choose the private pay option, your session fee is collected at the time of your session via credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA.
My Approaches
Informed Internal Family Systems (IFS)
You've noticed there are competing parts inside. Arguing and badgering yourself into changing hasn't worked. Learn how to talk to yourself and get unstuck. Informed IFS means I am in the process of training. 30

Informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Learn practical, hands on, and highly effective tools you can come back to time and time again when life is stressful and requires more than you think you can handle. Informed means I have partial training in DBT from the Linehan Institute.
Eye Movement & Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR addresses the way disturbing memories keep us reliving the past and believing thoughts like "I'm not good enough," and "I'm powerless." Lower the intensity of what you're feeling and believe instead that you are safe, you did the best you could, and you are good enough.
